Outlines Project 2

This is a bookmark I made. Colored very springy and girly with lots of bling. I used the Swarovski Crystals from Outlines Rubber Stamps. Lots of stickles as well. I am amazed at how sparkly the Swarovski Crystals are .. oh my I love them !!!!! Outlines has tons of sizes and colors... check them out.

Outlines Card 1

This is one of my 8 cards I needed to make for my DT Member assignment for Outline Rubber Stamp Company. This was a very cheery and colorful assignment. I wanted to keep the colors light and springy. This is actually one of the darkest colors I used as I wanted to be able to use for male or female. This stamp can be found here

FS158 @ SCS Hamiltongal's Special Day

These 2 cards were made in honour of Hamiltongals's special Featured Stampers Day @ SCS .. her gallery is amazing and it was hard to pick just one card .. so I did 2 .... The Peach one is a case of this card The things I chose to change are ... different image, different CB folder, changed ribbon, changed the bottom of the card and omitted the blackand switched to peach.

The Yellow one is a case of this card I changed the images, cb folders, corners but kept the colors. Congrats on your day Laurie !!!

My Valentine Dairy Queen Cake Pizza !!!

I have the sweetest most thoughtful Husband ever .... here is Our funny Valentine's Day story.

He was wondering yesterday how he could sneak out of the house without me knowing so he could pick up a Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake for me.... then I asked him to go to the grocery store to get a few things for my chili. He jumped at the chance LOL (not normal as he hates the grocery store)

Any way we went to bed and he was pretty pleased with himself cuz he had bought he cake and I did not suspect a thing.

He brought it out this morning and presented it to me.. with a little bit of a wondering look on his face ... believe this or not .... he thought it would be ok to leave it in the trunk overnight ???????? He now relates it to one of his best BONE HEAD MOVES .. LOL

This made him remember a WRKP In Cincinatti show .. When Herb was throwing turkeys out of a plane on Thanksgiving and Les Nessman was surprised that the turkeys were splatting on the ground ... he did'nt know turkey's couldn't fly ... and he could't get word to the plane to tell Herb to stop throwing them out ... OMG .. we were laughing til we cried ..They also thought it was a good idea at the time....... best Valentines cake pizza everever !!!!!

First Design Team Position !!!!!

I am so excited !! I have been chosen to be a 2010 Design team Member for Outlines Rubber Stamps. When I started making cards about 5 years ago now, My friends ..Karen and Kim got me hooked on Outlines Stamps. I love all the detail and all the cutting and snipping that their stamps required. Oh .. you can use as they are of course but the patterns and layers are what attracted me.

I went through my stash of Outlines yesterday and counted 56 ... so guess I can honestly say ... I LOVE OUTLINES
and I am so excited to get started.

So wish me luck and Please keep coming back to see what I come up with .. my first assignment will be EASTER !!!!

DD's Fave Color

This was made for my DD. Her fave color is pink and this is just for her. I used my Outlines Rubber Stamp called Heart Tatoo and embossed it with silver EP. Colored in a few of the spaces with my copic and added some stickles. The stamp was stamped once on white and once on pink CS and cut out. There are alot of rhinestones on the heart to give it some added bling !!!!!

My First Easel Card ...

This is my first easel card and I love it. I am not sure I love the image I chose but the fold is so simple and yet looks so ceative !! I followed the tutorial off of SCS and it can be found here if you wanna give it a go ... It is by Beate and super simple to follow.

FS155 @ SCS

This is a very late upload. It is Karen B Barbers FS special day over at SCS. I chose this card to case .. I changed the colors and Dp and ribbon but pretty much kept all else the same. She has an amazing gallery and it was very hard to chose a card.

It was also the first time I tried embossing on Vellum !! easy peasy !! and I was afraid of it.. :) not anymore ..

FS154 @ SCS

This card was made for the FS154 challenge today. We were to case a card from an awesome gallery over at Splitcoaststampers. The featured Stamper today was Anne aka jdmommy. She has an awesome gallery and this is the one I chose to case http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;ppuser=136194 we are to change up a few things so I changed the CB folder and added some black and used a different centre. Still stuck with the red as it is her favorite color. Hope you like it !!!

Verve Delight !!

I love this stamp set from Verve. After Christmas I purchased a few sets that were on sale at Verve and this was one set .. Delightful and Delicious. I used my CB and a corner punch and the little coffee cup is popped up. Hope you like it :)

So Sweet...

This is another card made with one one of Michaels 1.50 stamps. I paper pieced it and IRL the icing is very glittery. Lots of stickles. Just another quick fun card for the weekend.

This little card is for ... of course my little Matteo .. it is a 3 X 3 card and made with a stamp from Michaels 1.50 stamps. I just stamped it again on the envelope ... :) Fun little card.

This card is a RAK (Random Act of Kindness) from a lady that works with my daughter in Port Alberni, B.C. Her name is Treena and she saw the cards I send my DD and she makes cards as well ... so she sent me this Wonderful Christmas card!! How sweet .. and we have never met !!! I thought it was awfully nice of her... so ... of course I sent her one back :)

Thanks so much Treena .. I love it .. and when I get out there to visit .. we might just have to have one of those little drinkies together ...

I was off visiting Crystal's blog and found this sketch challenge for Inky Impressions . Her gorgeous card inspired me so I joined in :) This is my take on the challenge.. I haven't used primas in a long time ... I used H and M Stamp set called Caling all Angels and My Minds Eye DP.

My Beautiful New Ribbon Rack !!!

My Dear Husband made this gorgeous cabinet for me for Christmas. It holds about 400 rolls of ribbon and each of the little racks swing out for easy access to the one you want. it has the peg board on the front ...so if i want I can store more items. I kind of like it clan at this time. If I need space in the future I may use it. Is he just not the BEST !!!!!

Duchess Dolly the Dachshund !!!

This is my little Princess Dolly trying to help with the dishes... MMMM wonder where the 3 boy doggies are ??? She loves to get up on the dishwasher door and hope I will not catch her trying to lick the silverware clean LOL .. She is such a hoot !!!

My Hubby's Very First Card Ever !!!!

My Dear Husband made me this Anniversary Card .. He spent 3 weeks planning and hiding and scoffing stuff out of my Card room LOL .. He even used the Cuttlebug with a Nestability .. asked for a few insructions and off he snuck .. it was spread all over the pool table and covered .. I was forbidden to peek .. and I didn't.

He even made a purchase off Ebay for some little voice recorder thingy's that he recorded "If I Could Save Time In A Bottle" on ... so when I open it... it sings to me... I was very impressed with his first attempt ever !!!! Oh and it weighs about 2 pounds LOL .. He is Awesome !!!!!

1st Valentines Day Card

I had such an awesome day today !! It was my first day of holidays and I did nothing but make cards, blog hop, I broke down about 1 for a bowl of soup and a shower and here I am back in the card room :) What a lovely lazy snowy day to stay home and play.

Here is my first Valentine card... made with Outlines rubber stamps ...all the little hearts are popped up and colored with copics with a little bling on each. The roses have stickles so IRL it is pretty sparkly !!! Hope you like. If you click on the pic you can see all the details better.

My Grandson's First Birthday

Pretty Poinsetta's

I made this card tonight for my Manager .. I love it. It was made with my new Outlines stamps. 3 different size poinsetta's embossed in gold on shimmery white card stock and popped up on each level placed over the hollyberries in the back ground also embossed in gold. Then I colored in the leaves and berries with copics and crayola mark it markers. I used little tiny gold seed size blingy things in the middle of the poinsetta's.

I really like how it turned out... hope you like it too :)

Made with my most favorite Santa stamp from Rubber Stampede and all the paper is from CTMH ...

I love VERVE Stamps. I made this with Verve's Poinsetta Christmas set. They are awesome stamps. I used SCS254 except I changed the square to an oval for the sentiment. I like the look with the MS fern punch.

One Horse Open Sleigh

I made this card with an old PSX stamp. I bought a mixed box of stamps from Ebay quite awhile ago. This stamp and 7 other old PSX stamps were in the box and they had never seen ink. They are such beautiful stamps and stamp perfectly.

I needed a masculine card... I got this stamp in Las Vegas at Viva Las VegasStamps when we were there in March .. WOW what a store ... it has a bazillion stamps of absolutely everything.. very cool store.

I made this trying with a little retro feel and gave it to a guy that was leaving my dept at work .. one of the girl's added in on the sentiment "to look at"

This is Lovey little Bear.. he is a Morkie and is the sweetest little guy !! He loves the snow .. it is hard to get him in the house on a snow day .. he will sit there on a mound of snow and just look around .. no matter how cold ... for hours. I love my little Bear !!

Here is an update on Duke and Dolly the Dachshunds .. The little black one is Dolly, she is a total Princess. They are minis and in this pic they are both sitting on a pillow. They are now 6 months old and seem to be getting longer every day, They are such little lovey's, so affectionate and if they are not snuggling on our laps they are like this ... twisted into each other like little pretzels. Duke and Dolly ... The Dachshunds.

I finally made a Shaker Card !! I used Beate's video tutorial on SCS .. it was easy to follow and such an awesome result !! Again with the tying of bows for me .. a challenge but I think it turned out ok .. I taped the ribbon so it looked kind of flowy (Is that a real word ? Flow y ? ) LOL

I am back ... I have been absent the last few months and being very lazy in updating my Blog. I have been making cards and I think this is one of my favorites this season. I used the Inkadinkado stamp set called Holiday Sentiments and the Snowflake is from CTMH. I have a challenge with ribbon... I love it and have tons but can't tie a pretty bow ... but this one turned out perfect !! Practice.. Practice.. Practice .. Hope you like !!!
