A SCS Case ....

I cased this card from a lady on SCS ...Reddyisco ... hers just jumped out at me and is beautiful. I did change it up abit by adding the bermuda bay SU CS .. and using a CB panel and changed the sentiment .. but the main image is what I cased.

ABC Anything Cocolate

Here is another little round card I made for the ABC Challenge over at PCP .. Anything Chocolate. I used SU chocolate chip and a touch of green .. we were to use brown and one other color. again with my Zenspiration Stamps from American Art Stamps.

WOW ... I won Runner UP !!!!

I joined a group on PCP called Anything But Cute .. being as I am so serious and all :) .. This card was made for week#8 challenge Anything That Grows in Dirt.. I used my Pocket Silhouettes from SU and Brocade Blue ink and CS .. I really like how clean and pretty this card turned out .. and so did the gals at PCP ... It came in as Runner Up ... YEAH !!!!

I am so not Funny LOL ....

So my DH says to me one day ... You never make any funny cards ...and I thought ... yeah ...you are right. So in an attempt to be a little funny ... I used this little cow in a bikini from TAC .. Is this as funny as I get ????
Think I need more stamps now ... all his fault hehehe ...

This card was made for a friend of mine from work ... Dina .. she was married on July 10, I actually used my Cricut for the second time I think .. so that works out to be about 125.00 per heart on this card LOL .. I also used some real pretty paper .. not sure who it is by (it was for the Slice machine ) but it just screamed "WEDDING " to me.... This is supposed to look like a Tux and a Wedding Gown sorta .... kinda

Good Morning ... here is my card for the Midnight Madness weekly challenge. Forgive the pic as I am still trying to figure out my new camera....but this was not to bad. Love the new stamp.. it is from Totally Stampalicious .. does Stella not look like she is just right into her Birthday celebrations !! Love the sentiment. I used Liquid pearls for the frosting and some Diamond Glaze for the lenses on her glasses... and of course my fave ... stickles. Hope you like it.

Camera Grief !!!

Ok ...I use an old Kodak EasyShare camera.. I have for years now and I love it.. I know how to work it and I know how to get my pics to upload... WEEEELLLLLLLLL lately for some reason it is giving me grief .. I am so sad .. it is making my pics to big to upload to SCS ..all of a sudden for some reason...

I do have a lovely new Fuji Finepix S1000 ..but I cannot for love nor money get a clear close up shot!!!! They are either to yellow or they are blurry... I can take pics inside or outside no problem .. but a close up .. forget it ...ggggrrrrrr I am so frustrated with these darn cameras.

If anyone has any pointers... please feel free to leave a comment ... I am taking them both into my girl friend (a camera crazy lady photographer) tomorrow and see if she can give me any tips .. I have read the instruction booklet ...for the new one over and over again ... and from pushing all the buttons I most likely have it really mucked up LOL ....

This card was done as a Z Fold.. I love it !! I love the Vintage Vogue set from Stampin Up .. it is so versatile and pretty. This card is for a dear Lady that sits next to me at work, she has taken another position in the company, in another office and she will be dearly missed.

I cased a card by 'clairee' on SCS ... your can see hers here. It is a real beauty.

This card was made with the lovely Vintage Vogue from Stampin Up .. I think it is my new favorite .. I kinda over did the flowers and it is kinda not my favorite card.. but the next one I put up is ... look up .. :)

SC273 Prehistoric Birthday

Good day everyone.. This little card was made for a 6 year old boy who loves dinosaurs. I used HANDMSTAMPS Prehistoric Birthday for the dino , and Verve Birthday Surprise for the sentiment. The DP is by Abbey Road "STOMP"

MMSC60 Happy Canada Day !!!!

This card is for the MMSC60 challenge .. Happy 143rd Birthday Canada !!! I had so much fun last week with the challenge , I thought I would give it another go. The sneak peek works for me as I do not get to my card room alot during the week. So bright and early I get up Saturday morning for the sneak peek and get right to work. Hope you like it !!

MMSC59 , My First Time

Well I have decided to bite the bullet and do a challenge with the Midnight Madness Gang. I have always been very intimidated by all the beautiful cards I see by the DT members and all the players. The cards are always so amazing. Sooooooooooo here is my first card ever entered in the challenge.
I used a gorgeous stamp from Sweetpea Stamps called Bamboo Serenade. The artist is ching chou kuik , and I am totally hooked on her fairies. I just wish I had a little more talent in the coloring area. For this one I used all chalks. Hope you like it :)

Oh The Places You'll Go!!!

This was made for my Grandson Matteo .. I saw a little red Radio Flyer bike I wanted to get him .. then I found this stamp at Stamping Bella by Mo Manning..... had to have it to make a card for him to go with his little red bike. He is 16 months old and this stamp just makes me think of him... so adorable !!!

Grandma and Grandpa love and miss you Little Man ... hope you have fun on your new bike!!!

I love how this turned out !! I cased a card by lazylizard on SCS found here , I changed the colors, changed the sentiment and used an extra flower and some rhinestones, but her card was my inspriation. Thanks lazylizard.

Sweet Pea Fairy of the Night..

I am so hooked .. if you really want to see some amazing coloring on the fairies you must go to Angela Sowell's Blog .. oh her copic coloring is so amazing ... and her cards are amazing .. on top of the coloring .. all the beautiful embellishments .. she will definatley get you hooked on these stamps... and nope !! I am not getting paid or gifted LOL .. She will just inspire you.

New Sweet Pea Stamps !!!

I have just found an amazing stamp company called Sweet Pea Stamps.... oh my... their stamps are adorable .. if you like Fairies ... they have an artist called ching-chou kuik (no ...no capitals) Her fairy drawings are so amazing.. I am hooked !!!! This is my first card made with the Blue Eyed Fairy stamp ...

I think she could have used a little more glitter... Stay tuned .. there is another one coming ....Her name is Fairy of the Night ...

I made this little cutie using a stamp from Great Impressions, I also use the spring MS pad for the paper. I really like how it turned out, :)

FS166 Pat Smethers Caused More FUN !!!!

Well Pat Smethers seems like such a fun and crazy gal on SCS .. She is FS166 today . She certainly caused some fun in my home today. I decided it was time for me to bite the bullet and finally learn to use my brand new sewing machine. I bought it about a year ago to sew on cards.

So after I located the plug for it (still in the little plastic bag in the original box) I got at it. I tried and tried to thread the needle... it wasn't working .. wasn't sure there was even a hole in the needle LOL ... I had to call in the big boys .. my DH Dan and our friend Jorge .. well after numerous attempts ... DH got out some special tools LOL .. magnifying glasses with a light on it .. all attached to a hat .. oh my goodness .. did we laugh ... is it old age setting in ??? None of us could see the little hole in the little needle.

Well we got it threaded and then I did a few practise runs on some scrap paper AND BROKE THE NEEDLE !!!! Figured out how to change it and re thread it ... oh my oh my ... I finally got my card made and now I am off to Wal mart to buy a needle threader LOL .....
