PDCC41 and ABC on PCP .. National Mustard Day ..

This was made with 2 challenges in mind .. 1st ABC on PCP National Mustard Day .. yuppers ... Aug 7th was National Mustard Day .. who knew LOL
The second challenge is for the PCP Play Date Cafe challenge 41 Italian Style .. to use the colors in this photo ...
Actually there is a 3rd challenge .. that is one set for myself ... to use what I have ..pull out olds stamp sets I had not used in along time ...and stop buying stuff for awhile... this is SU set called Friendship's Journey from 2003. I also used CS from SU called More Mustard and Red Riding Hood.

ABC Anything Chocolate !! on PCP

I made this for a challenge on PCp called Anything but cute, Anything Chocolate. We were to use brown and one other color. I chose Blue. It was another challenge I had for myself .. to use what I already have .. no more purchases .. (I am saving myself for shopping in Vegas at the end of the month) It is hard ... I haven't even made a purchase at Michaels .. and they have tons of new punches in ... I am so strong LOL ... not .. I have gone in and peeked .. but resisted.

I just think this paper is a little busy .. it is so pretty though .. I used my SU set called Always in my Thoughts ... will try another with it I guess ...

Ma-Tater-Tots is Almost 2

I made this card for my little grandson Matteo .. he is giving his Mommy some hissy fits these days ... How come now I think it is cute LOL ... he is so darn adorable and pretty much anything he does is cute to me. This Mo Manning stamp was bought for just this occasion .. he is 20 months old this month .. How I love that BOY !!! Hissy fits and all....

Another Easel Card

This is made with a stamp set from Flourishes called Summer Botanicals .. such a pretty set .. I paper pieced the flower pot with the matching background DP. used a CB die for the corners and an EK success paper punch for the botom.

Technique Tuesday

I have had this set since 08 from TT .. never seen ink .. I am trying to use what I have right now ...my own personal challenge. Sometimes I think the addiction takes over and we keep buying and buying and hoarding LOL ... time to put some of it to use I say !!!

I love how the octagon nestie fit perfectly into the Renaissance heart nestie .. I just flicked the little heart bits over the octagon and it was a very cool discovery for me LOL.

Close To My Heart

I have had these cute little stamps from CTMH .. (the set is called Beautiful Day) ....for over a year now and they had never seen ink !!! So I made this card .. the little squares are inchies and I added some bling from the $ store ... There are 36 little stamps in the set .. very nice ...
